Sr. Mother Willie Avery
(June 21, 1929 – June 29, 2021)
Mother Willie Avery was the Senior Mother of the Church of Opportunity. As the oldest founding member, she was the epitome of the relationship we all pray to have with the Lord. Her humble spirit, example in prayer, and encouraging words linger in the heart. There was never a question of how she felt about the work of the church as any conversation included her saying, “I love my church.”
